Drain connection advice???

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

I have a slight problem i wonder if anyone has any suggestions for a solution.

I am having an extension on my bungalow, and next to an outer wall is a room we are converting to a bathroom.

On the outside a drain runs parallel along this wall, and mid way along this outer wall there is currently an Air vent pipe that runs up to roof level.

The problem is, because this room is currently a bedroom there are no connections to waste for the new Bath, Shower and sink.

could i use the air vent pipe?
and just box in the pipe within the extension?

Or could i connect to the drain directly when the ground is dug up for the footings?

Mmmm. In theory, you could connect up to the SVP (Soil Vent Pipe) but then you might be creating more problems as access could be tricky. If a wholly new connection is made, using a small access chamber or IC while the ground is open, at least you have the comfort of knowing that everything is get-at-able.
