Tree STUMPS are usually completely removed by means of an excavator. Do not leave any part of it in place.

We had a guy working for us once who claimed to be the worlds greatest landscaper. Unfortunately he failed a very simpled test. The tree test. I asked him to cut one down and he cut it off at the base.Carberry wrote:Leave 2-3ft of stump and remove with a digger. Does my nut in when people phone me to remove a stump after they have made a hash of it by cutting it at the base, trying to poison it with round up and wondering why it isn't dying.London Stone Paving wrote:Carberry wrote:Leave 2-3ft of stump and remove with a digger.
