Church steps - Pointing

got a job to point 2 sets of steps at my local church. first set is just to be repointed and needs to open again after a few days. 2nd set is alot more major, remove and relay. my question is i think they might need to be pointed with lime mortar. my problem is lime takes months to go off. any ideas?

Speak to easipoint dylan or instarmac
they can advise you on lime mortars
if you use hydrated lime its gone off the next day?
