Jesus. Do you think they maybe thought CBP was a concrete base?????
Unbelievable. No logic in it anyway, by the time you've wire brushed all that lot you could have lifted the blocks, dug out the bedding sand and poured some concrete to tile on.
Particularly love all the long straight lines and 4 corners :laugh:

Check the videos on their web site I looked when I was thinking of using slate pavers Was put off by 2 things one was the thickness about 12mm hardly what I call a paver and the best one was video of mortar mixing,they put a generous helping of washing up liquid in it,hardly what I call professional!

I’ve just checked there web site out and looked at photos of there slate patio’s being installed. And it’s me that’s installing it with the gaffer!
To be fair there slate was very good quality, but I don’t ever remembering the gaffer saying it would be suitable to lay over a block paved drive.
