saw tommy walsh on tv this morning advertising the paint pad pro ,which looked suspiciously like a sponge
telling the lads at work and 1 said his missus bought one
her and her sister covered in paint and bathroom wrecked
that shovel looks a handy multitool, the guy digging with it was all haste and no speed though

thats crap ive got some where a british folding one where you can lock it in spade or pickaxe shape. lads used to sharpen them like in that video and came in handy for hand to hand combat hehe. there are loads of folding little spades out there.

Giles I've got one of those (but unsharpened!) Acrow Tools. As far as I can remember I bought it from Greenham Plant in Isleworth in the early 1960s. It lives in the back of the old Land Rover and has occasionally been very useful. The spade bit comes off and then it's a kind of pick or axe. There's a wire cutter feature too and a thing which I think is intended for removing crown corks. Maybe some of the other holes have functions that I haven't figured out yet. Handy thing. One of those and a Leatherman and what else could one need?
