Are those cash prices or do the quotes include Vat also I'm not getting at you but to get 10 quotes is a bit unfair on the contractors. I spend a lot of time driving around the country measuring up and then a lot of evenings writting quotes if I knew that the client was bouncing me off 9 other people I'd be pretty annoyed because I have better things to do with my time like spend it with my family. Please don't treat these guys like they're a free service to get you a good price from someone else they've better things to be doing and if the quotes were coming in within a grand of each other why did you keep getting more contractors round to give you more similar pricing. Actually I am getting at you a little bit. £40m2 is to cheap thats my base rate for budget jobs +vat and I live in the cheapest part of the UK when it comes to materials and waste disposal. You still have to pay the tax on materials even if it's cash because no supplier does better pricing for cash these days so you should add 10% bringing you to around the £45m2 mark at least.

i thought you said 112 M2 the first time?
10 quotes? EEK!
what about the CO2 emissions of all those vans and lorries driving back and forth to your house
greenhouse effect,no wonder we have global warming :;):
why so many quotes?
I always tell people that i dont want to be the cheapest,I want to be the best
that generally weeds out the multiquoters
those sort of prices sound way to cheap for a proper job
