Hi
Just looking for some advice regarding reclaimed Southports. I am laying a small front path (c. 200 pavers) and not sure exactly which method/material to use for the joints. Main page suggests lime mortar was used originally but that resin mortar may be better option now.

Any suggestions much appreciated

:)

I haven't changed my opinion since writing that page. Lime mortar joints worked well enough, but it's pretty difficult for DIYers to get hold of black lime mortar so the darker 'Basalt' flavour of a good resin mortar is a much better option, and given that one of the main suppliers is only in Chorley, it's easy to get hold of a pail or two.
