I have just had 60sq m of black limestone paving laid. I am going to use a sealer/impregnator and also Rompox Easypoint after reading good reviews on here. However, I've been told to apply the impregnator first (presumably so that the easypoint doesn't adhere to the slabs) and also to do the jointing first, so that the whole surface is impregnated. I've also heard about leaving the slabs for 6 weeks to allow for them to dry out/efflorescence to come out. Can anyone give me the correct timings and procedures? Also, sealer or impregnator? We like the dark tones created when the slabs are wet, but the thought of a permanently glossy finish sends shivers down my spine. Thanks in advance.

Point the slabs asap and wet them down as you go that way the rompox won't leave any residue. Effo isn't a problem with limestone so tear away with the sealant as soon as you get a good day.
Can't see it from my house
