Path gravel - Best sizes

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Has anybody got any knowledge of these gravel from stone warehouse.co.uk,Blue Gritstone 14mm and Ice Blue 8-11mm?
Also what is the best size gravel for a path?

once you've worked out the tonnage you need see about phoning up your local quarries as it has to be cheaper to buy direct for the 2 products you've chosen as they are just single sized aggregates (although this would depend on where you are). you just have to wash the fines off them.

have to laugh at the descriptions, Ice Blue = white/grey, Derbyshire limestone? Blue Gritstone = grey, North Yorks gritstone?
i used to love using tarmac, but got fed up with getting my asphalt
