I have a couple of these from weddings etc and think they are great value for money at around £40-50 for a nice size
i was thinking it might be nice to get some made into a portfolio to give to prospective clients
also on big jobs you could give one to the client as a photo diary
what do the brew cabin think?

I think its a good marketing tool, you surprise the client at the end of a job and they will show people. I still regret not taking pictures of our house before and after I did the garden (new build). :)

done loads through aperture on my mac, for the weddings i shoot etc, more control and you do it on your comp then upload so quicker etc

used photoobox as well that was ok but no the best binding

but think its a good idea, on that garage slab we did they had a little boy so i got him a scale model of our digger and put little stickers on it and gave it to him he loved it, no real point other than spreading the digger love haha :)

Think it's a great idea.
Just recently did my first Blurb book for the mum-in-law, just family stuff. Thought the quality was terrific at a very fair price. Delivery time was also spot on.
They seem to come up with some discount offer, every fortnight or so.

Seems a good idea, mainly take my laptop for presentations now, but this would be useful as an additional aid, plus images sometimes work better in print rather than on the computor.

well i was talking to luton councils chief exec on another matter recently and he said a handwritten letter is worth 100 emails or 1000 phonecalls
i feel a real book carries more weight than a website image
i spoke to steve from london stone paving via email the other day and he sent me a sample box of their products, when someone can actually pick up a piece of the stone and feel it it is far better than just looking in a glossy book
its all about getting a professional image across to the client
