You get the idea that B&Q just want to make it look as easy as possible. There are a lot of DIYers out there looking for projects and B&Q making a patio look as easy as that might sell them a few extra material.

As well as the spots there was also the numerous cross road joints and the use of timber and a sledge hammer as a whacker plate.

I'm surprised that they weren't playing the theme tune to "the good the bad and the ugly" in the background.

Also noticed that B&Q are really pushiing there trade counter at the moment. They've got loads of staff wondering around the stores grabbing trade and getting them signed up. I think they are fighting back against the Travis Perkins Wickes Cartel.

I dont buy into myself either Tony. Not a big fan of these big nationals with their fingers and toes in every pie available. Its well documented about TP buying up all the independant building chains. By all accounts Scotts of Sunburies was booming until TP took it over. When I speak to the staff there they all talk about the good old days before TP took over. Loose aggregates, get rid of your waste there, buy concrete. All the sorts of things which make your life easier.

Noticed that Tesco are now buying gold. Also I know a lady who is in the CSR department at Tesco and she says Tesco are looking at getting into natural stone.

whats next TESCO Landscapes?

Mine lasted a bit longer than that but only because every few months they would send me a £50 gift voucher saying we haven't shopped there for awhile, please come back. I would go and spend the £50 then not go back.
