Sub-base & rain

On Sunday I finally got all of my sub-base in and wacked down in preparation for paving. But due to commitments over the next few weekends, it may be early June before I am able continue with the sand & blocks.
The weather is now much more changeable with frequest heavy showers, and God knows what it will do in the next few weeks.
Could the heavy rain ruin the compactness (if that's even a word) of my sub-base, and is it possible that I may need to wack it again before I continue?
Cheers
Paul

It's might cause some soft spots under the subbase but tends to wash the fines into the cavities and compact the subbase if it can run through and go somewhere. If it just sits there and is water logged you'll get the mot going thixatropic, basically solid becomes liquid as you vibrate it.
