what depth are the conduit ? when i first started to learn screeding techniques i was
using scaffold poles , ideally i would like just to put sreed rails on to subbase
does the conduit bend easy or they ok for sag or manipulation of weight of srceed board
cheers

i'd agree with sean, cheap as chips and not too much aggro if nicked off the truck. and you can cut them to size if need be

I've never yet seen a so-called 'professional' screed rail system that can justify its cost.

I've seen some fantastic systems, including a truly superb set of kit from AK Plader in Denmark, but when you consider that I can achieve exactly the same results using, say, four 6m lengths of 20mm round steel conduit and a length of 4x2, which would cost me 40 quid in total, spending 500 quid or more on a posh bit'o'kit seems ludicrous.

originally back in the 80s we were told to use scaffold tube, but the blocks were 90 mm then
20mm steel conduit works fine now
