Tremendous looking spot Hagg. Whats the name of the river?

Went fishing last week with a few mates up to a place called Ludlow which is in the Teme Valley.

We got up early in the morning to cook breakfast and realised that we had left the tea bags in the car. There was no way I was having my open fire cooked full English breakfast without a brew so me and one of the other lads volunteered to walk back to the car to get the tea bags.

Was walking back done the river and saw an otter pop up out of nowhere. Was well chuffed to see that

At the bottom of my sisters gaff the wier has been there since the 1700's it was made to funnel the water down a man made canal which became the start of the industrial revolution. It is the river Taff in Merthyr Tydfil great trout fishing and salmon have been introduced in the last few years, we sat there drinking watching a pair of dipper birds fly straight through the water fall in th the nest underneath it! Amazing never seen that before

"but what's that suspicious man made stuff, top right of photo?"

I wondered too. Google Maps shows a curving railway viaduct. Those things are the inside of the arches. With the Heads of the Valleys Road on a bridge behind.
