I have designed a soakaway for the required storm conditions using the BRE digest guide but I also have to design a pump to extract superfluous flow given 24 hour storm conditions. I have calculated the excess flow and the required extraction rate (0.01409 m^3 s^(-1)) but am having trouble selecting which type of pump/pump capacity to use. The soakaway is 1.5m deep and the pump has to transfer the water along flat ground to the final stage of an onsite water treatment facility approximately 50m away. Any tips of methodology, pump selection, and calculations would be greatly appreciated!

Search yellow pages under pumps and give some of them a call and ask to speak to their tech guy. You'll get all your info and on the spot pricing to.
