had my usual £1 EW on a couple of losers, but very distressed to see dead horses on the grass, looked like at least 2 died in this race and there were 3 deaths yesterday.
i like horse racing as a day out and spectacle but it must be heartbreaking for the people connected with the horses for this to happen on such an auspicious day

yes very sad about the horses and deepest sympathies to all connections. two it was that died . on a lighter note a good few years ago i was at uttoxeter races with the landlord and a few others others from my local . we all backed mcCoy and he was leading till the last until he ploughed the fence . screen was put round the horse . vet come on quad bike . a few minutes later the tent was pulled away and the horse was up on its feet and running round to big cheers from the crowd . as mcCOY walked past us the landlord shouted "never mind shooting the horse , you should have shot the fecker riding it". mc coy gave him a filthy look
