had my usual £1 EW on a couple of losers, but very distressed to see dead horses on the grass, looked like at least 2 died in this race and there were 3 deaths yesterday.
i like horse racing as a day out and spectacle but it must be heartbreaking for the people connected with the horses for this to happen on such an auspicious day
LLL :(
"what,you want paying today??"

yes very sad about the horses and deepest sympathies to all connections. two it was that died . on a lighter note a good few years ago i was at uttoxeter races with the landlord and a few others others from my local . we all backed mcCoy and he was leading till the last until he ploughed the fence . screen was put round the horse . vet come on quad bike . a few minutes later the tent was pulled away and the horse was up on its feet and running round to big cheers from the crowd . as mcCOY walked past us the landlord shouted "never mind shooting the horse , you should have shot the fecker riding it". mc coy gave him a filthy look :D

ust before the Grand National begins, I'm going to pull my wife's knickers down.
So I can amuse myself when I hear "And they're off!".

Mind you, I probably shouldn't be wearing her knickers in the first place.
