Path edging queries. - Materials and minimum radius

I'm planning to lay some light traffic garden paths. Firstly, if I use tanalised gravel board as an edging, how tight a bend can I achieve if I groove (kerf?) the back? I'm hoping to achieve a one metre radius.

Secondly, I've seen iron or steel bar used for path edging at places such as Kew Gardens. It looks long-lasting and low maintenance. What size and spec would be best and, as above, how tight a bend would I be able to make onsite?

you can buy special metal path edgings for doing a lot of curved work
much easier to install than faffing around with gravel boards

Sometimes I wish you could buy "bendable" concrete backedgers!

I used to faff about cutting back edgings into half or thirds to do tight radius work....and have them wobble about - but now I lay the whole edger in approximately, cut it as required from the top down about halfway, snick it with a lump hammer and nuzzle them into place, works a treat.
