Pikey bashing is so easy. I cant think of any positive contribution that they make to our society. There is plenty of them around our depot and we have been turned over on numerous occasions. We have had our office broken into 1/2 a dozen times over the past few years. One of the times they broke in they decided to empty out a 5 litre tin of lithofin all over the office, where is the sense in that?
The one that pissed me off the most of all (and I dont know why it pissed me off more than the break in's) was when they stole my brothers car jack. A Pikey came into the office saying he had a puncture and could he borrow a car jack. We lent him a jack to fix his puncture (he did actually have a puncture). When he fixed his puncture rather than drive the 200 yards to return the jack , he just scarpered with it
they alienate them selves from society with their paranoid views
i grew up with some romany gypsies (school mates) and they were fine at school if a little confrontational
but they all got married at 17 to another gypsy and had about 8 kids each
they have some twisted values
I.E. they wont touch anything to do with disability,so wont weigh in wheelchairs or crutches for scrap
but robbing the taxman i.e. us, is fair game.
you cant really be proper mates with an adult gypsy if you are not 1 of them
the ones that rob places like your are more likely irish travellers steve==> tinkers
even the romany gypsies despise them
as on the whole real gypsies are not thieves,door to door shoddy work is their mark

tony, theres no way you went school with any pikeys, maybe a few years at primary but no way at secoundry. if they did they were'nt pikeys. i nearly got my head kicked in yesterday when i asked them if they had permission to take the used heavy electric motor that they were trying to get in there trany. i was working on a industrial estate at the time.funny no one ever asks how did you know they were pikeys.
Dylan these lads were proper romany gypsies,I'll pm you their names, but like i say they are gypsies not pikeys if that makes sense and they all went to school to 15 years old same as me
gypsies are quite dark skinned, the ones on the big fat gypsy wedding all looked like irish travellers to me==> pikeys
I have built tombs for gypsy burials and done other bits and pieces,but the sense of persecution has left them very wary of outsiders

i rent my shed and small yard from a english gypsy,all his kid went to school till 14ish.. he has done living in a trailer now but lived on the road most off his life,none off my plant is locked up shed door some time is locked no other travlers will touch any thing in the yard,in time he has done the usual small time scrap and moters but in ten years of being in his yard i could wish for a better man to know and help out any problems MSH
Understand the distinction people make between authentic Romany gypsies and Pikies but dont buy into it too much.
I dont see any difference between a Romany Gypsy ripping off some poor sod with a rubbish tarmac job and a pikey breaking into our office. The result is exactly the same, honest people being swindled.
There are a few pikies who come here to buy stone and they are sound lads to be fair but I would not let them count their own setts out if you know what I mean.
Also know a Romany Gypsy back in Stoke who is an absolute diamond of a bloke who I would trust a 100%
Its not fair to tar them all with the same brush, but in the same breath is also more than understandable
