Gravel depth

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Hi guys,

I'm going to put some 20mm forest of dean gravel on my drive. I was planning to have it 25-30mm in depth. Some web sites say to have at 50mm.

What would you advise?

Many thanks

As a guide, as Sean says, laid depth roughly double the aggregate size.

Thanks for the advice guys. I may go for the 14mm size then, so I can have a depth of around 30mm.

Cheers
