the designer for one of our larger clients has requested 1.2m high 30cm radius tree trunks for a design that we are carrying out currently. any idea where i would get something like that? im trying local tree surgeons, anywhere else?

Farmers, forests and woodlands have a lot especially after strong winds, see your local forestry commission. We used to get massive tree trunks to build the groynes on the seaside.

There is a tree surgeon on our site at the garden centre. He has got a massive pile of surplus logs and I am sure he would be able to fix you up. .
Companies called barklands tree services. I will PM you the gaffers number
