nice tidy fence michael ,but have you not considered using a timber 6 by 1 gravel board under the panels on slopes?michaelthegardener wrote:

i noticed the concrete posts are still in place just behind. Does that mean that the fence is not on the boundary? We get this when the owner refuses to pay, so the neighbour has to pay and put it up on their side. then when they take the old fence down, they have gained some land !

What's that wall hag? Some bloody big garden wall haha.
Did you stick some Dpm etc before the soil or just fill up against the brick work

The wall is retaining a main road which is higher than box by about 5 courses . I tacked some 1200 gauge inside the box and the wall before back filling and gave all the tanalised timber a lick of stain should hold up 4 a while my original quote included sleepers but we had to get the price down . The wall is east facing but see's some sun most of th morning the plan was to have something easy to maintain and break up the monster of a wall.
