Nice idea Giles but we would need to put a number on every house in greater London to get rid of that pile
They go for about £6000 + VAT. It took us a month to get the thing working. We thought we had been sent a dud. It turned out that we were sent the wrong sized pipe. The pipe the suppliers sent was 50mm and did not concentrate the water pressure enough to move the ball. We eventually twigged and changed the pipe to 30mm which got the ball moving instantly. I would not have thought that 20mm less if pipe would have made that much of a difference.

The Yorkstone comes from a quarry in the Leeds area.
We probarbly will go down the route of fixed width random lengths sets, although more likely in 12 months time the pile will be double the size

Looking good mate, shame I've already spec'd the Pool wer'e building, but I'll give you the shout on the next one.
What's the cost of the Yorkstone by the way mate?
Sell the spoil as crazy/walling stone, flat stone like that would build lovely Dry stone walls for Planters and benches etc.

Thanks for the comments and feedback.
Roger, I think LTP have really got there act togther these days. We probarly sell as much LTP as we do lithofin at the moment. Got no problems with lithofin, its got the track record but I like LTP because it is a British company and we can buy it directly from them. With lithofin by the time it reaches the end user it will have gone through 4 companies who will have all applied a profit margin, which pushes the price high.
We always try and encourage the staff and anyone who is around (not that they need much encouragement) to have a drink after work on Friday so if anyones in the area, more than welcome to join in

We've started installing the driveway products yesterday and today
First row is tumbled raj green Indian sandstone blockpavers. Seocnd row is mixed colours of tumbled granite blockpavers and the third row is tumbled mint Indian sandstone blockpavers. The last row is going to be fixed width random length diamond sawn Yorkstone setts.
A local garden design company is going to be occupying the small building and we are going to build a Portland stone terrace with the front edge also faced in Portland
We are then going to clad this wall with 3 different types of stone cladding.
