Here are a few photos of our showroom at our depot in Stanwell. Its taken a while to build as we could not afford just to build it all in one go. Its almost finished now, we are just putting in a small section for driveway products.

Due to problems at the Kota ICD (Inland container depot) we had 5 containers stuck for a couple of weeks. This wasnt a massive issue but by the time they were released we had another 5 containers ready to dispatch. This resulted in a bit of a logistical nightmare for us in the shape of taking delivery of ten containers in 2 days. I have had one of my guys unloading containers now for 2 days solid.







We keep all of our sawn sandstone under cover. Reason behind this is that when people are paying the extra for sawn paving they want it to arrive in pristine condition (and rightly so). We found that sometimes the crates were getting wet and this moisture was getting absorbed into the stone, along with rust from the nails and general muck.

Old Saw



New Saw. We installed this beauty on Monday. Its CNC which is great because we can literally dump a stack of 5 yorkstone slabs on to it, tap in the commands and return two hours later to 20m2 of freshly cut Yorkstone. Its like having a new member of staff, the only difference being that its never late, always does exactly what you tell it to and doesn't answer back







These are the Yorkstone slabs we bring down from the North, its known as scant.



These are some that got damaged because the bloke who stacked them did not spread out the bearers properly





This is our Yorkstone graveyard. Really needs to be addressed. we thought about cutting it up into setts but dont get that much call for them. Any ideas on how to reduce this pile would be greatly appreciated.



We have just had a customer who has ordered 40 bullnosed step treads (2000m long!). We have cut them and sent them to site and it turns out that the customer has got the dimensions wrong. The customer saw from the plans that the step tread was 300mm but did not realise that he needed to allow for an overhang. Really feel for the guy because he was trying to save a few quid by ordering the materials himself and its ended up costing quite a bit more.

you know anyone with a flow jet cnc cutter? use the broken bits to do a custom cutting service like house numbers etc?



how much do those large spheres cost they look the mutts nuts, loving the new saw hehe like toys

really nice set up none like that up here really where does your yorkstone come from looks like the stone coming out or our local quarry at whaley bridge/hayfield in the peaks

Instead of regular patterned, try a vary sized mixed shade range?
just a thought....
Maybe flog it through e-bay at a reduced rate (so it wont taint your main business)
