hello,
As a few of you know i will be having ago at my drive shorty and a concerned about a few things, most of which you have answered - thanks for that.
My drive will slope towards the house, so before the house i will be putting a aco drive drain in along the front (but will have a layer of edging touching the house) this wil run into a soakaway. I have read on here that the edging is concreted on the sub base but how can i compact my MOT type 1, lay the edging and then fit the drive drain on because surely this must have to be done before i even put the MOT down so i can connect it up to the drainage pipework? Do you need mot under the drive drain? I see on here it should be laid on 100mm of concrete but what about under the concrete?
If i lay my drain in first i wont be able to compact my type 1 at the front for the house (inbetween the drain and the house)
Hope i am making sense. Thanks for all your advise

I'd favour the dig it out, stone it up and dig through the stone option. Add/trim the stone to final level after installation of said drainage.
