Mot type 1 base

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Now i have compacted my mot 1 base can i leave it like that a few months or will the fines get washed away in the rain?

Maybe i should put a layer of grit sand on top to protect it?

i don't have the money to do the next stage at the moment.

please advise

best to cover it if you can to save rubbish getting mixed with it
