did a fairly routine job today for flojoe
went to leave and noticed i had a puncture
thought " aha the nissan toolkit and bottlejack"

took me 25 minutes to get the jack undone,45 minutes to get the spare off ,10 seconds to break the frankly worthless wheelbrace
and 5 minutes to work out the bottle jack was a jack in name only
then went to get the puncture repaired at kwikfit to be told "we dont do commercial vehicles"
so i parked down the road and walked back with the spare, and said "this is off my car"
and they repaired it

nissan's failure to supply a brace and jack that work added 3 and a half hours to the wrong end of my day and cost me £50 too
why big firms penny pinch like this is beyond me
LLL :)

i keep a 1/2" socket set and strong arm in my navara after having a puncture and forgetting i'd put the wheels on with the air impact driver, the nissan brace disliked 18 stone jumping on it to try and get the nuts undone. least we get a full size spare unlike those space savers in some cars.
