this was a job my dads firm had lined up, big 5 bedroom prestige 1m+ newbuild guy had sacked original builders as they got footing wrong cost escalating etc, visited out big site every day meetings etc we were all lined up to start then he went with some guys who used to work for a building frim that went bust but said they could do it for a specific price under ours.

had this happen last month, 22 yr old bricklayer killed as a pallet of bricks collapsed on him, good knows whey it was above him.

What a shame that it is. That lad is from my neck of the woods. Some people dont realise the importance of health & safety until an accident happens. Problem is its too late by then
