I would like to collect some surface rainwater from a path at the side of my house into a 80mm land drain. I was intending to connect the land drain into a bottle gulley. The inlet to the bottle gulley is a moulded plastic blank. I was just wondering what the best way is to connect the land drain pipe into the bottle gulley?

Is it just case of making a hole at the bottom of the inlet and offering up a length of 110mm pipe?
Not sure how best to open up the inlet either.
Can anyone help with this?
