Inspection cover overlay over?

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

Got a query.

I have an issue with a drain which is backing up. Called a drainage company out. Now the company to unblock the problem states on the footpath there is a inspection cover which has been overlayed over by a utility company.

Eitherside of the commerical property are two inspection chambers. I have metal detected the footpath in the location where the drainage company states there is a inspection cover. The metal detector has not picked up anything.

The drain is private but the inspection covers are on unadopted Council Land.

Any help??

did'nt they give you a location for chamber from their cctv? Could be cover is gone because the cowboys got rid. They may of replaced with timber ( not good ) cover, thst's whyy no signal. Yoi can try tapping ground with a iron bar and listen for a hollow sound that will give you location.
