lovedays were bought out by clarks about 3 years ago but charlie still runs the show,their new yard although 5 minutes out of hemel is much better
and i saw them loading ehsmith bags last time i was there :;):

Thanks for telling Cookie about Lovedays Tony. Cookie got his pallets of cement from them as well. The reason I liked them is they were happy to take an order from Cookie without asking him for payment immediately. Cookie would phone me and ask me to phone Lovedays with payment details later in the day. Every other company Cookie and I dealt with wanted payment up front (which I can understand in the current economic climate).
