School job we did the other year was very tight for room so no where to put a welfare unit which h and s weren't very keen on, in the end they made us have a lockable box like a van vault type thing to keep all the drawings and paperwork in which got so damp you could hardly read them! Then they made us put herras fencing all round the porta loo and cover the fencing in visqueen in case anybody walked out with there gentleman sausage out like you do! All that to work at a school yet no crb checks on anyone??

but have now been told we must have an office, drying room ,and toilet on site
Did a hi-security hospital this week, paper work flying back and to for a couple of weeks prior including police checks and submitting a full list of every item in the van, and i mean every item you couldn't just put socket set or box of bloody tap connectors.

Day before we went they came back and asked how we were going to lift manholes without manual lifting (thought he played for Madrid) and what welfare facilities we had in place.

Got on site for 9.00am, got in the site after paperwork at 11.45, started work at 12.45 due to other hold ups, finished job at 2.00pm. Invoicing for two full days due to bloody paperwork, stripping van down and itemising etc........

So in affect they wanted us to provide welfare facilities for 2 hours on site ?
