Was the first time we've laid a drive with these 320x240 jumper blocks, I was slightly apprehensive.

It was an absolute sod to get started, lots of head-scratching ensued but once we got going, it wasn't too bad.

Laid to the pattern as supplied by Marshalls.

I laid every single block you see, started the jumper pattern in the lower LH corner as I thought it would look best that way - and it did. The customer was over the moon with the outcome.

They are Marshalls Drivesett Tegulas in 4 sizes.....bit of a headscratcher!!

Also all had to be loaded out by hand from inside the job, (couldn't compromise the shared access roadway) had to be careful we didn't have too many packs in on the job. Think this job took 18 packs in total.

I laid out from the garage up the driveway.......was a ballache of a job to get started though. Trying to visualise the pattern and get it started was hard work.

same here shared drive on the 100M2 job will cost extra Â£259 to have them deliverd as and when 14 pk's in all dont wanna handball them twice so i might bite the bullet other 350M2 is a large open new build so no probs there

It would have been handy to have had them direct to site but it wasn't possible nor safe for an artic to offload.

Had them delivered to our yard and forklifted onto our trucks to take to the job 40 miles distant.

Bobcat with forks was so handy at site!

Right lads I suppose it's about time I threw my hand in here's a few bit's n bobs I've been up to the last few weeks.
I completed this one in October but only planted it last week. Everything barr the plants and the bark was craned in including 45 tons of fill in mortar tubs. The old timers will spit their tea over the PC when they see the decking but I like it and was the best use of the sapce and levels. There's a bit of exposed aggregate porn for Luton it's dyed black and we used basalt grit and sand as the binder to keep it dark along with a nice pebble.

This is a Sawn sandstone patio that we did couple of weeks back. I've pesuaded them to switch the copings for buff granite and there's some super fancy plants planters on there way to sit on the gravel and various bits of even fancier furniture. the garden beyond is about to be started I'm waiting for the builder to make access so I can level it and get stuck in. This will also need and crane.

This is a job I'm currently on it's fairly basic the fence and soil need finishing on the driveway but it was fun to do. The path is being retained with sleepers and surfaced with gravel trimed and crossed with 2x4 to prevent migration. The slope is steeper than it looks so I let one of the lads drive just incase the digger fell. I'm good like that.

With flickr you need to go to the drop down menu top left then all sizes then like the 800x600 one then right click and copy the URL use the post a reply button and then the image button easier than doing the

Productive day today

120t muck away complete by 3pm

Chipping overspill parking area stoned up, timber edging in and final stone trim to level then compacted. Green line is the dig for the kerbing first thing tommorrow. 16 ton single sized 20mm Limestone chipping to be graded out after the kerbs are in place.

Love using our extended grading bucket, you can cover some serious area with it

What is it 6foot wide? That's the width on our js130s but deeper.

Good pics lads but maybe start threads like daves picture thread etc, or haggi's herald lol or just one picture thread maybe? My dads way so I'm driving around between 3 jobs keeping the lads busy and not doing much, got concrete coming thursday though
