Hi, I have done about 5 block paving jobs now as most of my work is on the black stuff. Every paving job I have done needed the edges of pavers to be concreted in. I have a job coming up which is surrounded by walls, the house and the pavement. I am concreting in drainage grills at the pavement edge. What I was thinking was screeding the area and laying the blocks as to save time and money. Is there anything I need to look out for by doing it this way. I have read the pros and cons on the web page but can't beat hearing it from the horses mouth.
regards
Lou
Yes it's fine to do it like that just pay attention to campaction around the edges and into the corners. Use the head of a sledge to compact around hoppers and other tricky bits. Use masonary nails to hold your string lines in place.
