250mm so the stone left over from me redoing the patio would become the copings 290mm 20mm overhang my mate keston builds any walls for me because im no brickie i only brick things that are buried like manholes im getting better but not good enough to do face work;)

where did you get the kitchen andy?
I did one myself last year <cough cough> its not my forte but i think the tiler made it for me,biggest grief for me was getting the cover strips cut neat around the curve of the worktop

is there a name for that pattern dave? i like tegula with those jumper blocks,it adds a bit of character

it was a magnet one supplied all assembled, just sit it in place screw it to the wall, fit the doors, drop the tops on cut the cornices job done. javascript:%20InstaSmilie()
we just had a lad in to do the gas and the spark was on site all ready
all the tiling i did

the secret with the worktop edging strips is one of the baby 1/4inch routers. with a new bottom bearing cutter u just have to be brave then a slight rub with a bit of 120g parer stuck to a block at 45* of the top surface to soften the edge a little. javascript:%20InstaSmilie()

what blocks are they dave i got about 450M2 of brett regatta 4 size block pattern.. thing is to maintain the pattern you have to have some slips and darts

Is that a beamlock Garage Dave I have a brand spanking single car one going super cheap if anyone wants it. Those type of block patterns are the bain of my life there's no fast way of laying them and they normally can't be moved by a cart. They easily take 3 times as long to get down but the dart and slip thing doesn't ever concern me I've yet to see one fail on a well built drive and I prefer to see the pattern continued it just looks so much better. Did you lay from the garage out or just get lucky and not have to cut the last course.
