Our ongoing war with the Middlesex/South Bucks Pikies has continued. Can never keep the buggers quiet for too long.

We've got one (well we did have) of those billboard vans that we move around and park in strategic locations around London. Its been a good form of advertising for us over the last two years.

We parked it in a lay by near heathrow just before christmas. When I left the van there I had a little gut instinct that something may happpen (guts never wrong is it?).

I was over in Spain for new year and I had the office phone diverting to the mobile just in case of anyone phoning over the christmas period. Got a phone call from a bloke asking if the van was for sale, told the guy it wasn't. He then said btw your passenger window is broken.

When we got back to the UK it turns out it was a bit more than a broken window. The fuckers had:

nicked the bonnet
nicked the seats
nicked the dashboard
nicked the window wipers
nicked the lights
smashed both the windows
Trashed the ignition system

They could have had the decency to nick the whole thing so we could have claimed on the insurance :)

To top it off a Pikey walked into our office the other week asking if the transit was going cheap. My younger brother who looks after the accounts and is very frugal with money said he would rather set fire to it than sell it to a pikey

there is some guy who owns a lap dancing club near me that parks his heavily painted car in 1 of the few free parking spaces round here, its a bit of a liberty TBH , my daughter has even picked up the catchphrase "girls just wanna have fun" off the side of it
think the council towed it before xmas for illegal advertising as it had sat there for 2 months
a mate of mine with a joinery firm ,rings up local phone ins on radio stations during lunch breaks
for you it would go
"Hi,its steve from london stone paving" bla bla bla but you just mention your company as much as possible
its free and it shows people a human side

We were doing a car park extension for a supermarket a few years ago and had our 3cx down there, it had been parked there for weeks, we took it away on a saturday morning to do a job just up the road parked it up again at night and the bloody kids went and trashed it, put every single window through on it best bit is insurance company wouldn't pay out because it didn't have a tracker fitted!
