Got a job where customer wants acco ground guard installing for there drive. Due to cost,customer has asked if the ground guard can be installed to accomodate car wheels only as opposed to installing on the whole width of the drive. Drive is 3.5 metres wide by 12-15 metres long.
The acco ground guard website has no gravel infill quantities mentioned on it (am using 10mm golden gravel )

Be very similar to normal gravel coverage for the depth, you are going to have to recess the accos I guess as if they ae say 50mm deep you don't want 50 mm gravel on either side. In my opinion be best to do whole drive in them but clients will always want something for nothing or have crazy ideas haha

If GroundGuard, or any other ground reinforcement paver is laid as a strip, what stops it shifting laterally when trafficked?
Most of these systems rely on there being a large-ish area in contact with the bed beneath that provides anchorage and resistance to lateral shifting. Laying as a strip would be possible if there were restraining edges and/or ground anchors, but without these, it's doomed to failure.
