Did my medial ligament in the knee once and was out for a good few months. You wont be able to do much physically for a bit but the brain will be working as good as ever.
Good luck with it Jonny boy. Stay positive.

Thanks all - it's really starting to sink in now. Quoted a sealant job today then afterwards wondered when in the hell I can do it. The kids offered to mum-share on a saturday and take turns with their activities - footie, dancing etc. Weird to have to even consider it.
full bed only - spot and dabs are the scourge!!

Johnny at the end of the day your health is more important (as i sit here with a beer and a roll up). than working until 50 and then having to stop for ever mate.
Talk to your bank etc and explain the problem, 99% will be sympathetic and get the work done mate. I`ve kinda taken this new out look since we were asked to put my dad into a hospice on friday (16 tumors).
You can also still price and win jobs but subbie them out with a small percentage for yourself, plus your mate can do any pointing work etc.
Be positive mate.
