it was another sickner rab, just like seville and IC thistle
plenty of them down the years for the hoops
In the 80s in luton you could get a hat that was half luton half Celtic colours due to the massive Irish/Scottish population here.
Celtic fans have always outnumbered the hun 20/1 here and the rangers club that briefly sprang up closed shortly afterwards due to lack of glass in its windows :;):
TBH though, I have met celtic and rangers fans at different functions and the hardcore are so similar in their bigotry and fake ideology as to be the same

Tony,
The die hard bigots ruin the game up here, still think were in the dark ages with all their sh1t. Religion and the game go hand in hand for a lot of folks up here, mostly those who have never been to a church or chaple in their lives.
Its sad but you do still occasionally get asked the classic what school did you go too in a job interview.

I was born at st marys manchester, dads from gorton in manchester, our whole family are man ute fans my dad, grandad, aunties and uncles. Dad has been at all 3 European cup wins. Inc wembley 1968.
I had a season ticket for a few years 13-16 until I started playing senior rugby on saturdays. And was at all 3 games for the treble year, Newcastle in league, fa cup final then an amazing night in Barcelona.

I was at Anfield a couple of years ago when we played Villa last game of the season. A good number of the Villa fans had turned up in fancy dress and, as is their wont, started to get a bit lairy after half time and several pints.
One fan, in particular was intent on making a nuisance of himself, and the sight of a uniformed bobby frog-marching a bloke dressed as a burglar complete with swag bag, stripey top and face mask, will stay with me forever.

i like stokes ground and support, out of all the new grounds
they have a statue of stanley matthews and near enough every supporter wears red and white
when they start belting out "Delilah" its something special, dunno how that song came to stoke
worst grounds are the old den and loftus road, some hairy moments in and around both those as they are surrounded by council estates
CBA with away games any more cost £100 for an away day before you even get going
