Can`t wait for Tuesday 6.15am when the alarm clock will
signify another year of work, isn`t a great feeling to know you've got work to go to, no more turkey sarnies for another 12 months, no more dossing around the house, no more disagreement's with her indoors every 5 mins, no more central heating for at least 9 hours, can`t wait to lace up my boots, fill my flask, and start the van, roll on Tuesday ( weather permitting )

well i have been the opposite as I have just spent the last few weeks replacing my kitchen, its been a total rip out and change of design on the layout so it took quite a lot longer than a normal kitchen replacement to get everything prepared
plus seeing as it was freezing cold out side it worked out great timing as i brought it forward 2 weeks which made it easier to get the purpose made components before the Christmas shutdown
but i am nearly ready for getting back outside again and it brings it home when i do a job like this that the reason i do what i do is because its more fun being outside that stuck indoors all day even though i have enjoyed doing it

Hawk you must have a poor memory to want to rush back to work in the freezing cold. I love my work but laying cast iron pipes in freezing weather is not my idea of heaven. Been decorating indoors this last week, ideal time.
Wantalc, don't think hawk meant any harm , it is hard being unemployed but there's no need to make a guy feel guilty because he's got work to go to. Hope you find work soon.

ideally, I hope that everyone in the brew cabin has a healthy and prosperous new year.
I am pricing a tricky one 110m2 split levels, walls both sides and the point of access is 2.3m wide with no additional access as the house was built in a rear garden
its coming out over £100 a metre with argent, but the access problems are a pain, plus nowhere to store anything
at least its a job to price
good luck all
