Dip in slab?

Other groundworks tasks, such as roads and footpaths, terracing, fencing, foundations, walls and brickwork, tools and plant.

Got a bit of a dip in my slab, what's the best way to get it level?
Taking into account frost and depth of dip (about 10mm at deepest) is about 2ft x 3ft in all. So a very wide/shallow belly.

Thought of latex but this is used in indoors, so no good for me.

Any tips guys?

Yes, looked at latex but its not recommended for outdoors.
Might scabble and grout it? Just not sure on frost resistance in that depth.

If it's just for foot traffic you might get away with a grano' mix. You could use renderoc hb or fc depending on uses and, or depth. Simeon does a similar product and you could contact him, i'll try and find his address it's on a thread somewhere. You'd be advised to wait for warmer weather though.

Yes LL. I tried to ignore it, but its got to the 'really bugging' stages now

Thanks alot Sean. Would you think a but of a roughing up would be in order or would it stick just the same either way?

Gave me a bit of something to look at, didn't think of Granno TBH.

New set of eyes and all that. ;)

Hi

Just seen this post; did you fix it?

You can scabble the surface then lay Ronafix thin bonded screed, minimum depth 6mm, up to 50mm in a single layer.

Give me a call if you need to discuss it.

I just showed it to my wife - the posting, not the helmet, although.....

Anyway, speak to Tony about the size and colour....as I've told Mrs O size isn't important!

Give me a call tomorrow about prices, or I can PM you.

Have a good evening.
