£500 would be a good price anywhere now that the utility companies (gas/water/cable etc)) all charge for for their service drawings, cant remember the last time i actually priced for a kerb drop and got the job (as opposed to doing one for a mate/known client).
I think some guy came on here a year or two back saying he could do them for £300, not a chance if you are working to spec and paying for permits etc

Priced at circa £500 (+VAT) as it is only a 4 kerb (max) dropped extension of an existing.
Full construction of a standard (6No) crossover on a 1.7m footpath would be in the region of £725+VAT
