looking to purchase about 50m2 of blue/black slate paving in the Manchester area, just had a silly price off one of the big merchants, anybody know where I can source some at a reasonable price per m2, looking for 600x600 600x300 300x300

I laid some black Indian slate a few months back, the customer sourced the slate him self. He bought it from top’s tiles in Warrington, it cost him 35 quid a m2 plus vat. And it was a bugger to lay.

Have you tried Blue Sky Stone? They do mail order but it's very competitively priced and really nice stuff. We did a couple of trial patios for them last year and the slate is surprisingly strong and superb quality.
