One guy uses leverage techniques to move increasingly heavier concrete beams, good ideas as long as you have a very flat surface.

reminds me of my early days :D :D

i have always found that if you can move something an inch you can move it a mile
our record for 4 blokes was a700kg steel, rolled 30 metres on scaffold poles then lifted 50mm a time on 4 by 2 till it reached the height
I would use 2 genie lifts now but they werent available then
AFAIK

i watched a program on sky a few years ago where 300 people gathered together to re constructed the building of 2 of the up rights and one horizontal members they had made in reinforced concrete the exact length size and weight of the actual stone henge

they made H frames out of timber tied together with reeds/straw twisted together, runners greased with sap or some fluid off the land anyway. teams of people pulling the ropes whilst other put the lubrication on the runners to move these massive 40 ton concrete members to get them into position

the first attempt failed as they tried to raise one into a hole and the timber frame fell apart so they start all over again

yet this guy does it single handed..........awesome :D
