F1 - korea - standing water

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

F1 Race suspended in Korea due to excess amounts of surface water standing on the new tarmac and nowhere for it to go (apparently)

I wonder if the circuit construction crews had a spirit level to hand??

With road construction, one old chap told me if anyone asks you the 3 most important things with road construction, it is drainage, drainage, drainage!

Seems the newness of the tarmac/resin isn't allowing the water to run off........

Jeez, his motor blew up in spectacular style, the sparks coming up from the tarmac when the rods/pistons/crankshaft exited the engine!!!!!
