Right lads has anyone got any experience of the various forms of Fake cast iron PVC guttering and downpipes from the likes of Brett Martin etc. It looks good enough when new but I'm worried about how well it weathers. Any observations. It's for my own house and I can't stretch for the real thing just now but I may go with Aluminium depending on the quotes my roofer comes back with.
Cheers,
Paul.

I have ogee in black plastic on my own house
its a bit more expensive than normal plastic but it still works and looks good 5 years later, its 100mm deep which i like as the normal profile is only about 60mm
the fake cast iron looks cheap and tacky IMHO
we priced a garage in cast iron,it was 2k supply and fit OUCH!

i have a large selection of hopper heads and down pipes if you want to collect pablo
thing is they last but the gutter rust to dust
it all depends on the era your house was built in i suppose
most important thing for me with guttering is that it works no matter how hard the rain
even on small works we always use deepflow as the normal stuff seems prone to flooding
i imagine any branded stuff would be colour fast these days
