I tried doing a general search before posting but didn't manage to find anything.

What I'd like to know is if there is any way of removing stains from yorstone left behind by wet leaves? The yorstone is new as opposed to reclaimed if this makes a difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mike

There is a product available from lithofin called outdoor cleaner:

"A chlorine compound based cleaner for the removal of stubborn stains caused by mould, black and green staining from trees and flowers. For use on external natural and artificial stone walls, paths, steps and terraces etc."

I have used this before on porous sawn sandstone and it usually does the job

Thanks

Steve

New yorkstone...? ... bring on the ageing process - I want it to look a century old - (bring on the wet leaves  )
A photo would be great -

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try and see what happens.

I'll post some before and after pictures.

Cheers,
Mike
