no need for sbr on big york stone am a big fan of ronofix but costs to much so cemstone one is fine :;):

Cheers Cookie. Do you just add sbr to the bedding mortar or apply a slurry to underside? I can imagine the slurry method slows progress. What ml do you add per mix?

you dont need to use sbr or any bonding bridge on yorkstone .just lay it on a sand and cement mix and lay individually and tap down with beetel or maul.dont screed bed

we can tony .we lay marshalls fine sawn york .every slab 600 wide .each length random .they will cut you any size you want for a price tony.over a 100 pound a sq m though tony

i laid some 6 sided sawn for a heritage job a few years ago but still cannot fathom why they dont make it 600 by 600, 600 by 900 etc
random lengths wtf is that all about?
I agree about bond bridges no need with 50mm slabs/flags
the only time i would use SBR is on steps or a path with a free edge

and as good as the cookmeister's work is, i dislike the way random yorkstone has to be laid
it displeases my eye
i laid a patio in yorkstone crazy paving at home 5 years ago and ripped it up
I guess the weird lengths is a cost saving exercise

the biggest length we get is about 1100 mm long.hard to push on the trolley
