The slabs probably look worse than they are because so many/all have been laid upside down.
What a totally crap job! The lad I have had working for me for 2mths and has no previous experience of paving would do miles better than that awful mess!
Unfortunately I have low hopes for you extracting any cash from them, by negotiations or by county court.
They have charged you about the same rate I would have charged for a top class job!
(I guess that, with the cost of the stone you are talking £80+ per m2?)
