I was asked to be at work for 6.30 am ( usually 7.30 ) so i started out at 4.15 ( usually 4.45). Drove for 15 minutes and a bad accident blocking the road, so had to turn around and go different route. So half hour out of my schedule A road i had'nt used for years had introduced a speed camera, flash, flash :p .
Coming to the M25 my windscreen suddenly started misting over ( fog ) Not being used to my newish car i was fumbling with switches, took the wrong turning and ended up going towards Dartford, instead of Heathrow. Ten miles later i managed to get off on the Orpington slip road and drive ten miles back to M25. so i've gone 30 miles out of my way, been flashed, late for work and stressed to the limit. why serendipity? accidently found a route that knocks off 15 minutes each way, once i was back on m'way ???
